Grevillea

Poster & Postcards

Directed by Jordan Giusti, and set in a youth detention place, Grevillea (2020) presents a Jewish teen, faced with anxiety about whether to risk taboo by committing an act against his own religion.

Using a single still image as the key artwork for both designs, I conceptualised the idea of breaking it into a collage of grided tiles, with dark overlays symbolising the protagonist's uncertainty, as well as reinforcing the restrictive confinements of the film's one location.

Poster and postcard still images are a courtesy of Bonita Carzino.
